Hannah - Owner

Hi, I’m Hannah, Founder and face behind Greenleas Equestrian Greenleas Equestrian was created in 2013 after I had my first little boy, it was names after our first pony (Buck) Buccaneer or Greenleas Who we sadly lost in 2017 after owning him for 21 years, he was the cheekiset pony around. I studied at Hartpury Equine college from 2001-2003 my National diploma in Horse management i then went on to become a head groom at a yard over in Effingham. I generally just enjoy hacking and sponsored rides now as our older horse is now 26 years old The Best thing about owning Greenleas has to be getting out and meeting new people and your horses. I enjoy being able to supply a good range and quality product at a price everyone can enjoy.

Lauren - Social Media

I’m Lauren, Hannah’s cousin, and I am the social media helper 
I’ve been riding since I was 6 years old, learning to ride on Buck who the company is named after.
I have my own two horses Meg and Oscar.
Meg is a 12 year old welsh D who I have owned for 4 years and is currently on loan to a great girl Emily, who loves to jump as much as Meg, so they are a great little team!
Oscar is a 5 year old Welsh C who is the newbie and has been with me a month now! He’s a cheeky little boy but I’m excited for what his future holds and teaching him new things 
I enjoy hacking, sponsored rides and popping the occasional jump. Also interested in getting into showing.

Meet the Horses

Chip - New forest Cross Throughbred gelding born in 1995, he use to enjoy show jumping, cross country, dressage and sponsored rides, he came to us as an unbroken 6 year old although we had known him since the day he was born. He is now enjoying a semi retirement teaching my eldest son how to ride. 

Reg (reggie Perrin)- Thoroughbred gelding born in 2008, he came to us in May 2015 off the track, he has had alot of issues including kissing spines, ulcers and navicular to name a few. He is sound on and off but a happy horse we hope one day to be able to compete him at a low level and maybe even try some le Trec. 

 

Meets The Dogs

Creed - Creed is our rescue Beagle from Dubai he is roughly 5 years old and certainly keeps us busy.

Buddy - Buddy is my fur nephew and is very much part of the business he is a Collie cross German Pointer and enjoys walks and swimming.
